On Saturday, October 4, 2025, our community came together for the 6th Annual Live4Lane Memorial 5K & Resource Fair. More than 200 runners, walkers, volunteers — and even a few dogs — joined us in supporting youth mental-health awareness, education, and advocacy.
This year’s mental health resource fair brought together partners from The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, The Ryan Bartel Foundation, Jay Walkers, Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad, and other local groups who are committed to helping young people and families find support.
Music from DeeJay Rell kept the energy high, and The Cupcake Mafia food truck made sure no one left hungry. The event also featured family-friendly crafts—like decorating rocks for our kindness rock garden—along with games for all ages to enjoy.
Thanks to the generosity of over 40 local businesses—and everyone who took part in the raffle and online auction—we raised more than $18,000. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, every dollar goes directly toward our programs, outreach, and community support. This year, The Live4Lane Foundation will award up to three scholarships to Dominion High School seniors who are actively advocating for mental-health awareness.
Thank you for walking with us on this journey and continuing to champion our mission. Your support keeps conversations open, strengthens local resources, and empowers young advocates to make a lasting difference. Together, we honor Lane’s legacy by lifting up others and creating a community where no one feels alone.
